Jennifer Guidi (b. 1972 in Redondo Beach, California) lives and works in Los Angeles. She uses two different mediums, oil and sand, to conceive works that involve a compelling meditative approach in their creation. Guidi received her MFA in 1998 from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has had several solo and group exhibitions in locations such as the Rubell Family Collection in Miami, Florida; LAXART in Los Angeles, California; Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, California; and Nathalie Karg Gallery. Her work is included in numerous private and public collections such as the Hammer Museum and the Rubell Family Collection.
