Nathalie Karg/Cumulus Studios is pleased to participate in the second edition of UNTITLED art fair.
As an extension of its program, Nathalie Karg/Cumulus Studios will be debuting its first exhibition, Stairs & Stars, curated by Nicholas Frank. Stairs & Stars will depict the relationship of ground to what’s above it. Nicholas Frank’s group of floor paintings will be supported by constructed platforms covered with Milky Way Dropcloth, a Frank-designed printed textile mimicking a painting tarp with dark blue background and light-colored paint droplets. In the middle of the space, Ugo Rondinone bronze birdbath, and on the walls, John Riepenhoff’s large plein-air paintings depicting the Miami night sky. This grouping of works co-mingles ground and sky anchored by Rondinone’s bronze sculpture.
